When the job for the Voice of the Lobos became available after the release of Mike Roberts, who was the “Voice” for more than 40 years, approximately 300 individuals were interested in the position. Scott Galetti was recently named to position and now, the broadcast booth is full for football and men’s basketball. UNM completed its radio broadcast teams for football and men’s basketball for 2008-09 by adding former Lobo football player Josh Bazinet to the football broadcast, and former men’s assistant basketball coach Scott Didrickson for men’s basketball games.
