After knocking off UNLV in a close game this might be a very different Wyoming team. There true-freshman QB Austyn Carta-Samuels, won MWC offensive player of the week the past two weeks, and seems to be a dual threat type QB. UNM did very well against Texas Techs QB Potts, and he was a more pocket QB, but when Sheffield replaced Potts it was a different story for UNM's defensive front. It will be hard to contain this young QB, and his big target down the field junior WR David Leonard. At 6'4" Leonard will pose a mismatch all over the secondary, Leonard is coming into the game with 38 grabs and 360+ yds. This is a good opportunity for UNM to pick themselves back up before their bye week.
