Double-double by Gordon sparks Lobos

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Drew Gordon had 21 points and 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, and New Mexico beat Boston College 75-57 Sunday in the consolation championship of the 76 Classic.
Gordon, a senior forward, was 9 of 14 overall and hit three free-throw attempts for a season-high scoring output.

Tony Snell scored 13 points for New Mexico (4-2), which went ahead by 19 points in first half. The Lobos won their final two games of the tournament after losing to Santa Clara in overtime Thursday.
Matt Humphrey and Lonnie Jackson each had 12 points to lead Boston College (3-3).
New Mexico shot 56.9 percent and won the rebounding battle 37-24.
Hugh Greenwood's 3-point beat the halftime buzzer and gave the Lobos a 41-25 lead. Boston College pulled within 62-54 courtesy of a 10-0 run in the second half.
